Midday Glance: Gold companies NEW YORK (AP) – Shares of some more gold companies are mixed at noon: Barrick Gold fell $ .21 Or .6 percent, to $ 36.29. Gold Fields rose $ .01 or .1 percent, to $ 12.36. Goldcorp fell $ .49 or 1.3 percent, to $ 36.44. Newmont Mining fell $ .04 or .1 percent, to $ 44.39.
