Florida is world famous for its "fabulous coastline and spectacular beaches. But when visiting Florida's beaches, which are absolutely" not lost " fantastic? Well, so many to choose from, any tourist will spoil the election. Did you know that if you entered only one mile of Florida beach every day, it will take two and half years to move through the entire state!
So where to start tourist? And on the Panhandle area and southwards along the west coast? The part of the Florida Panhandle is also known as the Emerald Coast. There are 10 beaches of note in the Pensacola region, Perdido Key in particular. This barrier island is part of the island of The National Gulf Coast and is just west of Pensacola. P Dr. Stephen Leatherman, aka Dr. Beach, Perdido Key has always ranked among the Top 20 beaches in the U.S..
Just east of Pensacola region is the famous tourist area of Fort Walton and Destin. Twenty-four miles of powder white beaches and crystal clear waters add to the natural beauty of the area. In fact, the beaches are so impressive that Southern Living Magazine ranked "best South Beach "and" Top Family Destination ". A perfect place for a nice family vacation.
What about the line A little more southeast of Panama City? The area is also known as the Capital "Wreck of the South," so it is a great choice for divers. There are many historic shipwrecks in the waters offshore waiting to be explored plus 27 miles of white sand beaches for swimming, snorkeling, shelling, boating and fishing.
Now let's head down further south and explore the west coast, also known as the Gulf Coast. A must to visit is Fort De Soto Park, part of the San Petersburg /
Clearwater Area. Ranked as the No. 1 beach in 2005 in the U.S. all by Dr. Beach, the entire area of the park covers 900 hectares with the area crowned by 7 kilometers of virgin beach.
When visiting the Gulf Coast, no trip is complete without a stop in Sarasota and Bradenton area. With 21 beaches of note in the area, it was a close call, but judges in the "Great International White Sand Beach Challenge", announced in 1987 that Siesta Beach was the "most fine white sand in the world ". This famous sand is 99% quartz and is snow-white feathers-Soft.
Heading further south, any tourists, especially on a honeymoon, must stop at Lover's Key State Park, located between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Beach. With 2 miles of white sand, full of Wildlife and nature trails through the park, this really is a quiet place to savor. Playa 4 ranked Florida by the Travel Channel cable network, even be married here on the beach at sunset, if desired.
And so we reach the southernmost point, before heading to the Everglades – Naples and Marco Island, also known as the Paradise Coast. If you want glamor head of Naples Municipal beach and harbor. Fronted with several million dollar mansions, this is a piece High life for free. If you are looking for something a little more secluded, visit Barefoot Beach Preserve in Bonita Springs. It's a little known 342-acre park with little more 1 mile of natural beach. It is located in a gated community of million dollars, but is open daily to the public.
